Money today, for work you do later.
Sell gift cards on your booking page and at the front desk, and hand out discount codes when you want to fill a quiet week. Both spend against a booking automatically, and neither costs you a commission.

Gift cards that spend like money
The buyer picks an amount, the person receiving it gets a code by email with their message on it, and it pays for part of a visit or all of it. Whatever is left stays on the card.
Brings in people who have never been to you
A gift card is bought by one person and spent by another. That second person is usually a stranger to your business, and they arrive already paid for.
Your own discount codes
Make a code like SPRING20 or NEWCLIENT10, put it on a post or a window sticker, and let clients apply it themselves at checkout. Percent off or amount off, whichever you prefer.
Tight enough to be safe
Scope a code to certain services, one location, first-time clients only, a minimum spend, a total usage cap, or an expiry date. Your regulars can be left out of a new-client offer.
The maths always works
Package first, then the code, then points and gift cards. Cancel a booking and the code goes back to the client, and gift-card money goes back on the card rather than turning into cash.
Honest about the fine print
No tax is charged when a gift card is sold, because it is prepaid money and gets taxed when it is spent. Expiry is off unless you turn it on, since several places regulate it.
Questions
Can clients buy a gift card without booking anything?
Yes. Gift cards are sold straight from your booking page, so someone can buy one at 11pm as a present and never book a thing themselves.
What happens if a booking paid with a gift card is cancelled?
The money goes back onto the gift card, not out as cash. A gift stays a gift, which is what both you and the buyer expect.
Do gift cards expire?
Only if you decide they do. Expiry is switched off by default, because several jurisdictions regulate how long a gift card must last. You choose, and we tell you plainly that it is your choice.
Can I stop my regulars using a first-timer code?
Yes. A code can be limited to first-time clients, capped per client, capped in total, tied to specific services or a single location, and given an expiry date.
Which plan are these on?
Gift cards and discount codes are both Pro features. See pricing for the full comparison.
